AM / PM – Arrival, met by your chauffeur guide and transfer to Colombo. Arrive at Park Street Hotel a beautifully restored 250-year-old colonial bungalow, located on a quiet leafy side street. Rest of the day is free to relax.

AM – After breakfast commence a city tour of Colombo, covering interesting places such as the Museum, old and new parliamentary complex, Kelaniya temple, old Dutch church, Cinnamon gardens residential area of the Colombo elite where you can also see a replica of the Aukana Buddha statue located nearby.
PM – Relax, do some shopping or even visit the Zoological gardens if desired.

AM - leave for Sigiriya, en route visit the elephant orphanage at Pinnawela, where one can see the baby Elephants being fed and bathed.

AM – Climb of Sigiriya rock , built by patricide king Kasyapa in the 5th.century A.D. and now a World Heritage site. In a sheltered pocket within the Rock one can see the famous Sigiriya frescoes, remains of the King’s pleasure garden, studded with ponds, islets, promenades and pavilions can also be seen.
PM – Visit Polonnaruwa, the medieval capital of Sri Lanka (11-13 century AD)Commence a city tour covering all places of archeological and historical value such as Parakrama Samudra , the largest man made reservoir, Gal Viharaya – impressive colossal Buddha statues carved out of the face of a granite boulder. Afterwards return to your hotel and relax.

PM – Do a city tour of Kandy, the hill capital of Sri Lanka and the last stronghold of the Sinhalese Kings. Visit all the interesting places such as the Temple of the Tooth Relic, where the sacred tooth of the Lord Buddha is enshrined EVENING – Visit Kandy Lake Club or to the Avanhala to view a memorable Cultural Pageant and a Fire Walking Show.

AM – Visit Peradeniya Botanical Gardens where one can see ell over 5000 varieties of tropical and sub tropical plants and trees. The orchid house here is the finest in Asia.
PM - After breakfast leave for Bogowantalawa. situated in central Sri Lanka and known as the Golden valley of Tea and home to old Ceylon, Arrive at one of the Ceylon Tea Trail bungalows, also Hot listed properties in the Conde Naste Traveler magazine. Choose from either four of the classic luxurious colonial bungalows built for the British tea planters in the days of the Raj, now restored to provide you a unique experience of life on a working tea estate.

AM – Commence a morning safari of the Yala National Park by Jeep. This is the oldest National Park on the island which boasts of many varieties of Mammals, Reptiles, the leopard is more commonly seen here. Pick-nick breakfast to be arranged or return to hotel for late breakfast.
PM – At leisure or afternoon safari tour of Yala National Park by Jeep.
